Let's Meet a Carpenter

This week we are studying about the boyhood of Jesus.  Today we had a visit from a wonderful carpenter (my dad) to show the kids some of the tools a carpenter uses.  They used a hammer to drive a nail, sandpaper to make pieces of wood smooth, a hammer to pull a nail out and watched how a saw and chisel are used.  It was a great experience for them and they all really enjoyed it.

 

 

As you can see, they were very busy!!
