How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World

After reading the book How to Make an Apple Pie and See the World by Marjorie Priceman, we made pie on Friday.  Everyone was able to help in some way and then it was time to put it in the oven.

 

Stir up the apples and mix up the dough.

 

                                                     Press out the dough into the pie pan.

 

Press out the dough for the top.

                                              Ready to go in the oven. 
                                              Now it's time to taste!!

 

Several students came back for seconds.  They liked it and making the pie themselves was a lot of fun.  I sent the recipe home in the folders on Friday so try it yourselves if your feeling adventurous. Thanks again for all the apples.
